11.4 Amalgam-Test
If the tumbler filler and cuspidor rinsing
keys are briefly pressed simultaneously, an
acoustic signal sounds on the water unit
and
AMALG
flashes on the display.
Briefly pressing this key combination again
ends the test.
11.5 Purge Function
Purging the water paths
(only for dentist unit)
It is possible to flush through the water
paths with the Purge function (e.g. after a
lengthy break or after surgical treatments).
For this purpose press the two upper keys
in the left block,
Cooling spray
and
Chip
blower
..
A message will appear prompting you to
choose between
PURGE
and
SANITA-
TION
*. Select
PURGE
with the
–
or
+
key.
PURGE
must flash.
* The
SANITATION
function is described in
the Maintenance Instructions.
Press the
Chip blower
key while
PURGE
is still flashing. The message
SELECT
ITEMS FOR PURGING
then appears.
Set the sanitation cover on the cuspidor.
The water paths are purged basically
without the treatment instruments being
connected!
Pull the treatment instruments off from the
couplings.
Plug the couplings into the associated
adapters of the sanitation cover of the
same color.
Activate the
Chip blower
key anew, the
instrument hoses are then purged
consecutively.
The purging time set previously in Mode
runs for each instrument hose individually
(see page 35).
An acoustic signal sounds after the last
hose is purged.
Finally reconnect the instruments and
place them in their holders.
