14.1 Function of Keys

Control Panel
Automatic tumbler filling
Briefly pressing this key causes the tumbler
to be filled with a preset amount of water.
Pressing the key again during water flow
switches the tumbler filling function off.
Cuspidor rinsing
Briefly pressing this key switches the cuspi-
dor rinsing function ON. The cuspidor is
then rinsed for the preset period of time.
Pressing the key again during rinsing

rinsing
function
off.
Electronic regulation of
handpiece suction power.
After a suction or saliva ejector handpiece
is removed from its hanger, this key can be
used to set its suction power.
This is done by briefly pressing the key to
switch through the 4 suction steps (distin-
guishable by their corresponding suction
noise). The green diode flashes in steps
1 to 3 and lights continuously in step 4.
Once set, the suction power remains stored
after the handpiece is returned to its
hanger.
If both suction handpieces are removed,
the setting of the large suction handpiece
has priority.
Sanitation of the workstation.
This key can be used to start the worksta-
tion sanitation program (see
Maintenance
Instructions
).
