Battery Electrolyte
These vehicles are equipped with a
maintenance-free battery. Electrolyte
level can not be checked.
WARNING
BLACK negative battery cable
must always be disconnected first
and connected last.
WARNING
Never charge or boost battery
while installed. Battery electrolyte
contains sulfuric acid which is cor-
rosive and poisonous. In case of
contact with skin, flush with water
and call a physician immediately.
WARNING
Should the battery casing be dam-
aged, wear a suitable pair of non-
absorbent gloves when removing
the battery by hand.
CAUTION: Should any electrolyte
spillage occur, immediately wash
off with a solution of baking soda
and water to prevent damage to ve-
hicle components.
