Ambient Probe The ambient probe is located in front of the condenser coil. It monitors the
temperature around the refrigeration cartridge. Note: The ambient probe is
wired in series with the door switch.
To replace the ambient probe
1. Disconnect the cabinet from the power supply and remove the refrigeration
cartridge (see page 41).
2. Take note of cable routing (photo recommended), then carefully cut cable
ties to release the probe cable. Detach the probe from the front of the
cartridge, and trace the probe cable back to it’s connector and unplug.
3. Following the same path as the original probe, run the new probe to the
condenser coil and secure with cable ties. Locate the probe in the same
location as the original probe.
4. Reassemble.
