Swing Carriage Attachment

1. Position the boom so the attachment is just
above ground level.
2. Swing the carriage until it is centered (both
cylinders equally extended) so the swing
carriage locking device

can be properly
installed.
3. Shut down the engine.
4. Install the swing carriage locking device on both
swing cylinders as shown in gure 48. Secure
them with the quick release pins

.
5. After the locking device is installed, disconnect
the auxiliary hydraulic hoses and cover them
with the existing caps. Refer to gure 49.

6. Secure the carriage hoses between the carriage
and the platform as shown in gure 50.

7. Secure the locking device to the Personnel Work
Platform as shown in gure 51 when the platform
is not in use.
NOTE
Ensure the Personnel Work Platform pins are
moved to the upper cut out hole of the platform
pockets, to properly secure the locking device.
