Resetting the lamp hours
After you replace the lamp module, you need to access the projector service menu to reset the
lamp hours. To prevent accidental errors, only a system administrator should perform this
procedure.
NOTE
Always reset the lamp hours after you replace the lamp, because lamp service reminders are
based on the current hours of use.
To reset the lamp hours
CAUTION
Do not reset the lamp hours unless you have just replaced the lamp module. Resetting the lamp
hours on an old lamp can damage your projector as a result of lamp failure.
1. Using the remote control, press the Menu button.
2. Scroll to Options , and then press Enter.
3. Scroll to Lamp Settings , and then press Enter.
4. Scroll to Clear Lamp Hours , and then press Enter.
The lamp hours values reset to zero.
5. Press the Menu button to return to Lamp Settings .
Confirm Lamp Hours Used (Normal) and Lamp Hours Used (ECO) are reset to zero.
