12. Super Remote
The function module helps remote technicians to remotely diagnose the vehicle through the
diagnose device of Smartsafe Company, original factory or other third-party brand diagnose device.
12.1 Working Principle
The SmartLink Remote Diagnostics System is a newly developed powerful service system
dedicated to remote vehicle diagnosis and service. In this system, SLC as a service subscriber,
can submit remote repair orders to remote diagnostics service provider via SmarLink Service
Pltatform (http://smartlink.x431.com). The SLC applies to vehicles that comply with CAN/DoIP/CAN
FD/J2534 diagnostic protocol standard.
The SLC system consists of the following two parts:
1) SmartLink Service Platform - For binding the SLC and posting the remote repair orders (
Note: Orders can be submitted only after the SLC successfully bound).
2) SLC - Connects with vehicle's Data Link Connector (DLC) to obtain vehicle information before
submitting repair orders.
