7 Access to the PV plant
The plant data can be called up from every device connected to the internet using the
MaxWeb Portal.
7�1 Opening the MaxWeb Portal
Open the MaxWeb Portal as follows:
1. Launch your web browser.
2. Enter “http://portal.solarmax.com” into the address bar of the web browser. The
MaxWeb Portal login screen appears.
3. Enter your email address and password. The plant overview appears.
Note
You need to register in order to obtain a password (see Section 6.6).
4. Click on the “Plant overview” tab.
5. In the “Plant” menu, select the required PV plant.
7�2 Opening the MaxWeb xp user interface
The MaxWeb xp user interface can be opened in the MaxWeb Portal:
1. Open the MaxWeb Portal as described in Section 7.1.
2. Click on the “Plant overview” tab.
3. Click on “Connect” . The login screen for the MaxWeb xp user interface appears.
4. Enter your registration details. The “Overview” tab will be displayed.
Browser compatibility
Certain elements of the MaxWeb xp interface require JavaScript support. The JavaScript
support must be activated in the web browser. MaxWeb xp was tested using the following
web browsers:
Firefox from version 3
Internet Explorer from version 8
