3.3.2 Rack mounting
1. Select a location for the inverter
With a NEMA 4X protection rating, the inverter can be installed both outdoors and
indoors.
When the inverter is running, the temperature of the chassis and heat sink will be higher
than the ambient . Do not install the inverter in a location that you accidentally touch.
Do not install the inverter where flammable or explosive materials are stored.
2. Installation angle
Install inverter as shown in Figure 3.13 below.
Install the inverter vertically. If the inverter cannot be mounted vertically, it may be
“mounted at angles greater than 15 degrees off horizontal. Inverter cannot be mounted flat.
The steps to mounting to the rack are listed below:
