3.8 Insulation resistance
WARNING
The tested object must not be live.
During measurements of insulation resistance, dangerous voltage up to
1 kV occurs at the ends of test leads of the meter.
It is forbidden to disconnect test leads before the measurement is com-
pleted. Failure to obey the above instruction will lead to high voltage elec-
tric shock and make it impossible to discharge the tested object.
Connect the meter probe or the
adapter which the measure-
ments will be performed with.
Select other settings and per-
form the measurement using the
START button.
Items will vary depending on
whether the following have been
connected to the meter:
probes,
UNI-Schuko adapter,
AutoISO-1000C adapter.
During the measurement the
H.V./REC/CONT. diode is lit orange.
