2-2. Notes on Servicing
2-2-1. When the Optical Unit Assembly is Replaced
1. Write the LookUpTable/3DGamma/CSMatrixTable data contained in the attached CD-R supplied
with optical unit assembly. (Refer to Section 2-6-4.)
2. Change the Panel Driver Gain B data to the values of the adjustment data stored in the CD-R.
(Refer to Section 2-4-1.)
3. Change the Panel alignment data to the values of the Panel alignment data stored in the CD-R.
(Refer to Section 2-4-2.)
2-2-2. When Replacing the QA Board

If possible, take note the each value of the Panel driver Gain B/Panel alignment on the board before
replacing.
Remove IC602 from the old QA board and install IC602 by reusing the removed IC602. If reuse of IC602
is not possible, follow the procedure described below.
1. Obtain the former CSMatrixTable data from the original QA board before replacement as follows.
(Refer to Section 2-6-5.)
Write down the obtained CSMatrixTable data as follows. (Refer to Section 2-6-4.)
2. Return the Panel Driver Gain B data value back to its original value before the QA board is replaced.
(Refer to Section 2-4-1.)
In case if the original data cannot be copied, perform the Panel Driver Gain B Adjustment.
(Refer to Section 2-5.)
3. Return the Panel alignment data value back to its original value before the QA board is replaced.
(Refer to Section 2-4-2.)
2-2-3. When Replacing the C Board
Remove IC4001 from the old C board and install it to the new C board before replacement.
2-2-4. When the GA, GB, HA, HB, NF, QB, TL, U, or V Board is Replaced
No particular adjustments are needed.
