5.2 Hygiene accessories
The imaging plate is protected with a protective cover and a
hygiene bag before the exposure. Protective cover and hy-
giene bag are protecting the plate from:
• Ambient light
• Contamination
• Mechanical wearing
• Moisture

THIS SYSTEM AND SUPPLIED BY AUTHORIZED DIS-
TRIBUTOR. The manufacturer of this system will not be
held responsible for any problems caused by using acces-
sories from other manufacturers. PROPER USE OF ORIG-
INAL HYGIENE ACCESSORIES ENSURES THE BEST
IMAGE QUALITY AND MAXIMUM SERVICE LIFE OF THE
IMAGING PLATES.
The packed imaging plate is positioned with a holder in the
patient’s mouth. The exposure is made as with film. The
hygiene bag should be disinfected after exposure and
disposed off after single use.
1. Imaging plate is inserted together with the protective
cover all the way into the plate slot.
2. Magnet on the plate carrier grabs the imaging plate.
3. Processing starts automatically after you remove the
protective cover.
Dispose protective cover after single use.
