Connection options: As for shielded twisted pair cables, there are different options for connecting the SC5 to the
experiment when using the inputs in differential mode.
When the connectors’ shields in the experiment are connected to PE, the following connection scheme should be
used:
If the shields are separated from PE in the experiment, the following wiring configuration should be used:
The shield of the cables should be connected to PE at the back of the SC5, as shown in the previous section.
