The generator (3) hangs loosely on the screws (4).
N Push the wiring harness (9) into the guides (arrows)
in the crankcase.
N Pass the wiring harness (9) through the opening in
the crankcase.
N Fit the air baffle (1).
N If the original screw (2) is re-used: Coat thread of
screw (2) with Loctite 242.
N Insert and tighten down the screw (2).
N Tighten down the screws (4).
N Push the wiring harness (9) into the guides (arrows)
on the airflow shroud..
N Push the rubber grommet (10) into the guide on the
handle housing.
N Push the wiring harness (9) through the rubber
grommet (10) until its bead is flush against the
grommet.
N Push the wiring harness (9) into the guides (arrows)
on the tank housing.
N Install the filter base, @ 15.3.
N Insert and engage black connector (12) of generator
(3) in controller.
N Push the wiring harness (9) into the cable holder (11).
N Install throttle body and sleeve, @ 15.5
N Install the flywheel, @ 18.3.
N Install the fan housing with rewind starter, @ 10.11.
N Mount the shroud.
N Install the air filter.
N Fit the filter cover.
N Calibrate the saw, @ 4.
The controller is optimally adjusted to suit the mechanical
and mechatronic components.
