N Take out the screw (12).
N Remove the retainer (13).
N Take out the screw (10).
N Ease the tank housing away from the crankcase
(arrow) and hold it there.
N Unlock the detent (arrow)) and pull out the AV spring
(11).
17.3 Installing the Antivibration Elements
N Ease the tank housing away from the crankcase
(arrow) and hold it there.
N Push the AV spring (11) into the guides in the tank
housing until the detent (arrow) snaps into place.
N Position the tank housing on the crankcase so that
the bearing plug (14) is in its seat in the crankcase.
N Insert and tighten down the screw (10).
N Fit the retainer (13) so that the impulse hose (15) is in
the recess (arrows).
N Insert and tighten down the screw (12).
N Install the filter base, @ 15.3.
N Coat stub (arrow) on handlebar bracket (5) with press
fluid.
N Push the annular buffer (6) onto the stub as far as the
stop.
N Screw the spring (4) clockwise onto the handlebar
bracket (5) as far as stop.
N Screw the bearing plug (3) clockwise onto the
spring (4) as far as stop.
N Ease the tank housing away from the crankcase and
hold it there.
N Position the annular buffer (6) in its seat in the
crankcase.
