4.7 Checking safety equipment
The safety devices must be checked at least once every 24 hours:
DANGER
Defective safety device!
Death or serious injury.
Î If a safety device does not stop the machine, it must be stopped for
safety reasons and secured against being started up again. Repair
must be carried out immediately.
DANGER
Open shrouding covers and safety covers.
Danger of crushing and cutting by the carriages, racking, fabric take-down,
take-down comb and additional beds!
Î Do not reach into the running machine when the shrouding covers and
safety covers are open.
