VII. Handling and Storage:
Handling: Avoid contact with the skin, eyes, and
clothing. Use proper lab safety techniques
(i.e. gloves, goggles, etc). Wash exposed
areas immediately and thoroughly after skin
contact from working with this product and before
eating, drinking, using tobacco products or using the
restroom. The effects of exposure can cause burns
that are not immediately painful.
Storage: Keep in a closed, properly labeled container in a dry
area away from acids, water, oxidizing materials, and
metals. Protect from physical damage.
VIII. Reactivity Data:
Stability: Stable at ambient temperature and pressure.
Conditions to avoid: Avoid very rapid introduction of large
quantities of material to water.
Incompatibility (materials to avoid): Contact with acids, oxidizing metals.
Hazardous Combustion or
Decomposition Products: None.
IX. Spill or Leak Procedures:
Material is Released or Spilled: Sweep “inert” organic filament and dispose
of properly.
Waste Disposal Method: Not critical - dispose of as solid waste,
observing all local, state and federal
regulations.
X. Special Protection Information:
Ventilation: Area-wide ventilation is acceptable.
Respiratory Protection: Not required unless severe dust conditions
are present.
Eye and Face Protection: Safety glasses are recommended.
Skin Protection Latex or Neoprene glove required.
