Removable I.V. Pole, 1/2” - FDTSH
The removable I.V. pole FDTSH is a 1/2” diameter I.V. pole with an adjustable height.
WARNING
The scale and bed exit systems must be adjusted if this accessory is added when either system is in operation. Refer to
the “Add / Remove Equipment” procedure (page 22).
INSTALLATION
Tools Required:
• None
Procedure:
1. Insert the I.V. pole into one of the sockets located on the four corners of the bed and either side of the seat section.
OPERATION
CAUTION
Do not use the I.V. pole as a push/pull device.
1. To adjust the height of the pole:
• Turn the locking sleeve counterclockwise and raise the telescoping
portion of the pole to the desired height.
• Tighten the locking sleeve.
2. Hang the I.V. bags.
WARNING
The weight of the I.V. bags must not exceed 11 lb (5 kg).
