15.5 Viewing results files on a computer
When result files are copied to a USB flash drive, they are saved in a folder named ‘SMPX’. Each result
consists of four files:
❖ Melt video – can be viewed on any computer.
❖ Melt report in text format – can be viewed and printed.
❖ Melt report in XML format
❖ CSV file containing block temperature and light intensity for each tube – can be exported to a
spreadsheet e.g. Excel
Note: Unencrypted files can be exported and changed freely.
15.6 Viewing encrypted results files
Results files which have been encrypted are saved as a zip file. The contents of the zip file can be
viewed and exported using the companion desktop reader app, available at www.stuart-equipment.
com. Encrypted results files cannot be changed or edited.
