7.4. Connecting water supply line(s)

Protect the entire system from frost.

Filings and dirt must not get into water pipes!

All pipes must be cleaned before they are connected to the unit.

is resistant to demineralized water.

WARNING
Fortheultrasonichumidier,usedemineralizeddrinkingwaterwiththeconductivitythatissuitablefor
yourapplication(seesection"4.7. Application limits" on page 20).
Provide each unit with a stop cock in the drinking water supply pipe.
Cleanalllinesbeforeconnectingthemtothehumidier.Thesupplylinecanbeapressurehoseora
stainless steel tube, depending on the safety risk.
Connecttheoverowpipeforadditionalsecurity.However,nowaterowsintotheoverowduringnor-
mal operation.
CAUTION
Demineralized drinking water.
Theultrasonichumidierisoperatedwithdemineralizeddrinkingwater,toensurethatthetransducers
retain their function throughout the unit's service life. Furthermore, if the mineral content of the water is
too high for the planned application, this may lead to the formation of deposits in the humidified room.

Check the mineral content and conductivity of the drinking water to prevent damage to property.
●
Replenish ion exchangers regularly and in good time.
