4.8. PV Connection
Before connecting to PV modules, please install a separate DC circuit breaker between the inverter and PV
modules. It is very important for system safety and ecient operation to use appropriate cable for PV mod-
ule connection. To reduce the risk of injury, please use the proper recommended cable size as below.

CAUTION
Do not connect any PV modules with possible current leakage to the inverter to avoid any malfunc-
tion. For example, grounded PV modules will cause current leakage to the inverter. When using PV
modules, please ensure the PV+ & PVof solar panel is not connected to the system ground bar.
It is requested to use a PV junction box with surge protection. Otherwise, it will cause damage to the
inverter when lightning occurs on PV modules.
When selecting proper PV modules, please be sure to consider below parameters:
1. PV modules' Open circuit Voltage (Voc) does not exceed the max. PV array open circuit voltage of the
inverter.
2. PV modules' Open circuit Voltage (Voc) should be higher than min. start voltage.
3. The PV modules connected to this inverter shall be Class A rating certied according to lEC 61730.
1. Remove the insulation sleeve 10 mm for positive and negative conductors.
2. Suggest putting bootlace ferrules on the end of positive and negative wires with a proper crimping tool.
3. Check the correct polarity of the wire connection from PV modules and PV input connectors. Then, con-
nect the positive pole (+) of the connection wire to the positive pole (+) of the PV input connector.
4. Connect the negative pole (-) of the connection wire to the negative pole(-)of the PV input connector.
Close the switch and make sure the wires are tightly xed.
WARNING
Please do not connect the PV array's positive and negative poles to the ground. This can seriously
damage the inverter.
Before connecting the inverter, please make sure the PV array open-circuit voltage is within the
maximum limit of the inverter.
