Status Codes
Status Codes
Status codes are character strings that are
continuously displayed at the top left of the
TGA instrument display. These codes tell you
what segment in the method is currently being
performed by the instrument.

Status Codes
Code Meaning
Air Cool The furnace air cool line
has been opened to cool
the furnace.
Calib The TGA is in calibration
mode.
Closing The furnace assembly is
closing.
Cold The instrument heater
cannot supply heat fast
enough to keep up with
the thermal program. This
may be caused by a large
ballistic jump in the
program, a faulty heater,
or a faulty control thermo-
couple signal.
Complete The thermal method has
finished.
