Carry out the procedures described in paragraphs
7.7. “Disassembling the frame guards” and 7.15.
“Disassembling the rear cover”.
On each side:
1. Unscrew the screw a fixing the PEDAL
LEVER GROUP to the flywheel, using a 6-
mm T wrench.
2. Remove the plastic spacers b and the
washers.
3. Remove the PEDAL LEVER GROUP.
To disassemble the connecting rod c:
4. Unscrew the screw d fixing the connecting
rod to the synchronizer e using a 6-mm T
wrench.
5. Remove the plastic spacers f and the
washers.
6. Unscrew the screw g fixing the connecting
rod to the pedal, using a 19-mm wrench.
7. Remove the connecting rod.
To reassemble the PEDAL LEVER GROUP,
carry out the above steps in reverse order.
Before reassembling the PEDAL
LEVER GROUP, lubricate the plastic
spacers with a thin layer of chain grease.
