8. Equipment installation
To obtain the best results from your M4 inline machine in terms of quality and performance, please follow the
following recommendations when integrating the control unit and the marking head.
If your practical application requires a different installation from these presented in this document please contact
Technomark's After Sales Customer Service or your retailer for information.
8.1.Marking head
To obtain the best quality marking please follow these instructions when your marking head is installed.
This is not an exhaustive list of all cases. If your case is not shown below please validate the integration with
Technomark Technical Services or your dealer.
8.1.1. Integration recommendations
1. Install your equipment so that it is protected from impacts. Pay particular attention to the impact unit.
2. Install your equipment so that the stylus is perpendicular to the surface to be marked.
3. The head cable's minimum bending radius must be maintained at:
· R = 60mm (2 ½ in) minimum when it is static
· R = 100mm (4in) when it is mobile
4. Prevent friction between the cables and all moving objects.
5. Avoid all stress on the cables.
Failure to follow recommendations could result in damage to equipment and the cancellation of the
guarantee.
