portability solution. With Tekelec’s
stand-alone NP server, no network
reconfiguration is required to
implement number portability. The
NP server delivers a much greater
signaling capability than the
conventional SCP-based approach.

addressing scheme. The network
layer for the TCP/IP protocol suite
widely used on Ethernet networks,

re-assembly through the data link
