WEDGE SOCKETS
One of the more popular end attachments for wire rope is the wedge socket. For field, or
on the job attachment, it is easily installed and quickly dismantled. The procedure is simple:
1. Inspect the wedge and socket; all rough edges or burrs, that might damage the rope,
should be removed.
