Replacetheharddiskdriveorsolid-statedriveonlyifyouupgradeitorhaveitrepaired.Theconnectors
andslotoftheharddiskdriveorsolid-statedrivearenotdesignedforfrequentchanges,ordrive
swapping.
Donotdroptheharddiskorsolid-statedriveorsubjectittophysicalshocks.Puttheharddiskdriveor
solid-statedriveonamaterial,suchassoftcloth,thatabsorbsanyphysicalshocks.
Donotapplypressuretothecoveroftheharddiskdriveorsolid-statedrive.
Donottouchtheconnectors.
Beforeremovingtheharddiskdriveorsolid-statedrive,makeabackupcopyofalltheinformation
onit,andthenturnoffthecomputer.
Neverremovetheharddiskdriveorsolid-statedrivewhilethecomputerisoperating,insleepmode,
orinhibernationmode.
