Increasingmemorycapacityisaneffectivewaytomakeprogramsrunfaster.Toreplaceamemorymodule,
readthefollowingprerequisites,andthentheinstructions.
Whenreplacingamemorymodule,besuretofollowtheprecautions.
Note:Theoperatingspeedofthememorymodulehasdependencyonthesystemconfiguration.Insome
conditions,thememorymoduleinyourcomputermightnotbeabletooperateatthemaximumspeed.
Attention:Beforeyoustartinstallingamemorymodule,touchametaltableoragroundedmetalobject.This
actionreducesanystaticelectricityfromyourbody.Staticelectricitycoulddamagethememorymodule.
Toreplaceamemorymodule,dothefollowing:
1.Disablethebuilt-inbattery.See“Disablingthebuilt-inbattery”onpage65.
2.Closethecomputerdisplay,andturnthecomputerover.
