ENGINE REPLACEMENT 7.3
Removal
1 Move the loader to a level surface. Raise the boom
arms, engage the boom supports, apply the parking brake,
shut off the engine and remove the ignition key.
2 Remove the seat, hydrostatic shield and U- Joint ser-
vice access panel. (fig. C3453)

Shut off petcock
6 Disconnect the fuel return line from behind the rear
fuel injector.Disconnect the main Engine harness / ROPS
harness plug connector. (fig. C3576)
7 Drain the engine oil and coolant. See Section 7.1
Lubrication system and Cooling System.
4 Shut off the fuel petcock located at the bottom of the
right hand fuel tank, inside the engine compartment. (fig.
C3615)
5 Loosen the fuel line clamp and disconnect the fuel
line.
3 Access the battery compartment and disconnect the
battery cables from the battery terminals. ( fig. C3584)
Ground cable first.
