2.4 Towing the machine
The machine can be towed in the event that the
hydraulic system of the machine fails or if you
cannot start the engine.
Start by loosening the two screws that hold the
brakes. Remove the top screw and turn the fitting so
that the screw can be put into the bottom hole. Do
this on both sides of the machine.
Then lift the engine cover and set the cooler into
the service position. Loosen 2 tension screw,
each by 2 turns.
The machine can now be moved manually.
After towing, tighten the tension screws by 14 Nm
and refit the brake pads.
Warning:
If the machine is stationary on a slope, there is a risk
the machine will start rolling if the tension screws are being loosened. Therefore, always secure the
machine before loosening the screws.
