2.5 Starting with an auxiliary batteri and recharging the battery.
RC-1000 is equipped with a rechargeable battery 12 V 18
A.
The battery can be damaged if it is poorly handled. In
order to reach its full effect, the battery must be handled
properly.
The battery is located under the top proctective cover
- If the engine altenator is defective or the
machine is not used for a long time, the value of
the current in the battery can decrease. Make
sure you charge the battery before it is too late.
- The battery is maintenance-free throughout its entire service life. This means destilled
water must not be added (refilled)
- When handling the battery, always turn off the emergency stop switch.
- Never disconnect any cables leading to the battery while the engine is running. Otherwise
the altenator will be destroyed.
Only use a 12 V battery during auxiliary starting.
When starting the machine with the auxiliary battery, it is necessary to connect the cables
directly to the battery and not the chassis, because the battery has no direct connection to the
chassis.
You can recharge the battery with a charger connected to the poles.
As an accessory, you can purchase a charger for pulse charging. It can be connected to the machine
over the entire winter, which ensures the optimal maintenance of the battery.
During charging, the emergency stop button and the main switch must always be activated.
