3.8 Replacing the engine
Before the Vanguard engine is installed in the
machine, some changes are necessary for
operation of the machine on slopes up to 50°.
The suction strainer in the oil pan is replaced os
that it can suck in oil regardless of the angle the
engine is in.
The vent pipes for both valve caps must be clogged
Crankshaft vent is mounted
A one way valve is mounted on the hose so that dirt does
not get sucked into the engine
