5.1 Brakes
RC-1000 is equipped with a parking brake which automatically clasps on when the machine is
turned off. The brake is deactivated when the machine is started and the engine creates oil pressure -
approx. 3 seconds after the machine is started. The parking brake prevents the machine from rolling
away when it stops on a slope.
If the brake does not turn off, it can be because it is clogged with dirt. That is why it is important to
keep all the moving parts clean and lubricated.
The brake will activate when:
-the signal between the controller
and the machine is lost
-there is signal interference
-the oil pressure disappears
-the emergency stop is
activated
5.2 Towing the machine
If the machine fails and must be towed, the
brake can be deactivated mechanically.
Start by loosening the two screws that hold the brakes. Remove the upper screw and rotate the fitting so
that the screw can be put into the lower hole.
Do this on both sides of the machine.
Then loosen the tension screws on the pump.
IMPORTANT
Driving with the brake disconnected is on your own
responsibility and should only be done to get the
machine to a workshop!
