Before mounting the traction wheels,
lubricate the axles with thin oil.
5 BELTS
It is essential that the belts of the machine are properly tensioned. When driving with belts that are
too loose, there is a risk that the belts will come off when driving on a slope. If the belts are too
tight, it increases the wear of the oil engine and bearings.
Proper adjustment of the machine belts is measured using a belt scale which is attached between
two support rollers in the middle. Subtract the value to approx. 215 mm. Press the upper side of the
belt against the middle support roller, and subtract the value on the belt scale. The value of the
correct belt tension is 190 mm.
During the first 20 hours of operation, tension the belts regularly.
If the belt is to loose, adjust it using the
following method :
1. Loosen the lock nut.
2. Loosen the rear lock bolt.
3. Turn the adjustment screw clockwise to
tighten the belts.
After adjusting and checking the tension of the belts,
tighten the lock bolt and the locknuts.
