3.5 Valves
Inspect the valves after every 200 hours.
1: Remove the protective frame, side covers and rear end.
2: Remove the valve covers
Do not forget the seals on the screws
and the valve cover!
3: Remove the spark plugs
4: Adjust the valves in the combustion stroke
approx. 6mm behind the top dead center.
5: Inspect both valves using a feeler gauge
(0,10-0,15mm)
Adjust if necessary.
After adjusting, install all the parts back in the
reverse order.
When mounting the rear part, it is important to position it correctly. The rear part must be on the
same level as the engine, and the rubber edge must fit snugly.
If the rubber edge not does not fit snugly, the engine sucks in dirt and closes the cooler connections,
which causes the engine to overheat.
