3.1 Oil pressure
Oil pressure is measured in the opening
in which the oil pressure sensor is mounted.
1: Remove the oil pressure sensor, and put in the gauge with
a numeric indicator (barometer) (0-5 bar).
2: Start the motor. Once the engine warms up, measure the
oil pressure both at idle and at higher speeds.
3: If the oil pressure is too low, you can check:
- oil level
- whether the engine oil filter is clogged
- faulty pump
- clogged suction strainer
