5. OPERATION
5-1. Turning On/Off the Power switch
Do not touch the power switch with a wet
hand.

It may cause a serious or deadly electrical shock.
Before turning the power on, check that the instrument it is properly connected to the power
supply and grounded.
Turn the instrument on (a vertical line side [

]) with the main power switch.
After turning the power on, the control panel will show the control program number.

The control program number displayed differs according to the time of shipment.

Turn the instrument off (a circle side [

]) with the main power switch.

After approximately two seconds, the instrument will become operative.
The temperature, speed and time displays on the control panel show set values of previous
operation.

Do not turn off power during centrifuge operation. If the instrument is turned off during spinning, it
will be inoperable until the rotor slows down naturally and comes to a complete stop. While the rotor
slows down, the interlock function prevents the chamber lid from being opened even if the power
switch is turned on.

After turning the power off, wait at least ve minutes before turning it back on again.
