Inspection before starting operation
5-7. Starting Operation
Before starting operation, check the following points again.
Check the inside of the chamber for any foreign material or water drop.
Check rotors, buckets, racks and other accessories for any damage,
deformation or corrosion.
Check that the rotor is securely installed.
Check tube holes for any foreign material or water drop.
Check that the load of buckets, racks and sample tubes is properly balanced.
Check all buckets on the swing-out rotor move freely.
Check the rack in the rack-in-rotor is properly seated and does not stick outside the rotor.
Close the chamber lid.
The lid open lamp lights out.
Operation cannot be started until the lid has been securely closed.
Press the key. A single "pip" sounds.
The start indicator lamp begins to ash. When the rotor reaches the set speed, the start lamp
stays on.
START
During spinning, the speed display switches from the set value to the actual value and the display
color switches from green to red. And the time display indicates the remaining run time.
The safety interlock system prevents the accidental opening of the chamber lid while the rotor is
spinning.
