5-6. Setting Operating Parameters
CAUTION
Do not exceed the maximum allowable RCF of the tube.
●
Failure to do so may break the tube and cause the rotor to fall off during
spinning.
When the mass density of the sample exceeds 1.2 g/cm
3
, do not
centrifuge at speed exceeding the maximum allowable speed of the
rotor which is respectively calculated.
●
An excessive speed may damage the rotor, bucket or rack, thereby causing
the rotor to fall off during spinning.
Press the key. A single "pip" sounds.
The temperature display switches from the actual value to the set value and begins to ash.
Turn the Jog Dial to set a desired temperature.

Temperature setting range : -9℃ to 35℃ (in one degree increments)

Set temperatures referring to "11-2. Cooling Capacity" on page in this Operator's Manual for
controllable temperature range.
After setting the temperature, leave it for approximately two seconds to nalize the setting. The
temperature display stops ashing and returns to the actual value from the set value.

When turning the power on, the temperature is set to the last operating value.

Press the key. A single "pip" sounds.
The speed/RCF display begins to ash.
Check that the "rpm" lamp of the rpm/G unit indicators lights up and turn the Jog Dial to set a
desired speed.
