9. TROUBLESHOOTING
If any system malfunction in the MX-307, 207 or 107 is suspended, when it is operated properly
according to this Operator's Manual, check the cause referring to the table in “9-1. Symptoms
and Solutions” and take the corresponding action. If the symptoms of the malfunction is not
identied or the actions described do not solve the problem, disconnect power cord from the
electrical outlet immediately and contact your dealer or local TOMY representative.
9-1. Symptoms and Solutions
Symptom Cause Action taken
The MX-307,
207 or 107 does
not turn on.
The instrument is not properly
plugged.
Plug the instrument in properly.
The main circuit breaker is tipped or
the fuse is blown.
Check the outlet is not overloaded and
is in the correct voltage range, and then
turn on the power again.
The power is shut off.
Turn off the power and check the
instrument is properly connected to an
outlet and grounded. And then turn
on the power again.
The MX-307,
207 or 107
vibrates
abnormally and
makes a loud
noise.
Buckets, racks or tubes are not
properly installed.
Install buckets, racks and tubes
properly.
The load is unbalanced. Balance the load.
The instrument is placed on an
unstable surface or it is not properly
installed.
Install the instrument properly on a
level surface.
The MX-307, 207
or 107 does not
start operation.
The run time has not been set. Set the run time.
The MX-307,
207 or 107 does
not properly or
fully cool
down.
The inlet or outlet is blocked.
Remove obstacle to allow air to flow
smoothly.
The drain hose is not capped. Install the drain plug.
The heat exchanger is clogged. Clean the heat exchanger.
The instrument is exposed to direct
sunlight or placed in a poorly
ventilated site.
Reinstall the instrument in a proper
site.
The chamber lid
does not open.
The power is not turned on. Turn the power on.
The MX-307, 207
or 107 displays an
error message and
does not start or
stops operation.
Refer to the following “Error Code Table” and take an appropriate action
corresponding to the error code.
