designedtoremainonthemachineaftercoverremoval.
Loosenallofthefastenersafewturnssothatthepanel
isloosebutstillattached,thengobackandloosenthem
untilthepanelcomesfree.Thispreventsyoufrom
accidentallystrippingtheboltsfreeoftheretainers.
Tilttheseatforward,loosentheboltsholdingthefront
enginepanelandremoveit(Figure55).

motion-controlleverstotheNEUTRAL-LOCKposition,
andengagetheparkingbrake.
2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwaitforall
movingpartstostopbeforeleavingtheoperating
position.
3.Checktheengine-oillevel(Figure56).

4.Starttheengine,runitatidlefor5minutes,shutoff
theengine,waitfor3minutes,andthencheckthe
engine-oillevel.Ifneeded,addoiluptotheFULLmark
onthedipstick.

gauge.Enginefailuremayoccurasaresult.
