Greasing the U-Joint
Grease Type: General purpose grease.
1. Clean the grease fittings with a rag.

2. Pump grease into the fittings until grease
begins to ooze out of the bearings
(approximately 3 pumps).
3. Wipe up any excess grease.

• Shut off the engine before checking the oil or adding oil to the crankcase.
• Do not change the engine governor setting or overspeed the engine.
• Keep your hands, feet, face, clothing, and other body parts away from the muffler and
other hot surfaces.
