sharpturnatahigherspeedandtheinside
rearwheelliftsofftheground,theremay
bealossofcontrol,whichcouldcausethe
machinetoskid.Usethedifferentiallock
onlyatslowerspeeds.

Turningwiththedifferentiallockoncanresult
inlossofmachinecontrol.Donotoperate
withdifferentiallockonwhenmakingsharp
turnsorathighspeeds.
Thedifferentiallockincreasesthemachinetraction
bylockingtherearwheelssothatawheeldoesnot
spinout.Thiscanhelpwhenyouhaveheavyloadsto
haulonwetturforslipperyareas,goinguphills,oron
sandysurfaces.Itisimportanttoremember,however,
thatthisextratractionisfortemporarylimiteduse
only.Itsusedoesnotreplacethesafeoperation.
Thedifferentiallockcausestherearwheelstospin
atthesamespeed.Whenusingthedifferential
lock,yourabilitytomakesharpturnsissomewhat
restricted,andmayscufftheturf.Usethedifferential
lockonlywhennecessary,atslowerspeeds,andonly
inrstorsecondgear.
UsingtheHydraulicControl
Thehydrauliccontrolsupplieshydraulicpowerfrom
themachinepumpwhenevertheengineruns.You
canusethepowerthroughthequickcouplersatthe
rearofthemachine.
WARNING
Hydraulicuidescapingunderpressurecan
havesufcientforcetopenetrateskinand
cancauseseriousinjury.
Usecarewhenconnectingordisconnecting
hydraulicquickcouplers.Shutoffthe
engine,engagetheparkingbrake,lowerthe
attachment,andplacetheremotehydraulic
valveintheoatdetentpositiontorelieve
thehydraulicpressurebeforeconnectingor
disconnectingthequickcouplers.
Important:Ifmultiplemachinesusethe
sameattachment,cross-contaminationofthe
transmissionuidmayoccur.Changethe
transmissionuidmorefrequently.
