downtothesumpforatleast10minutesbefore
checking.IftheoillevelisatorbelowtheAddmark
onthedipstick,addoiltobringtheoilleveltotheFull
mark.Donotoverlltheenginewithoil.Iftheoil
levelisbetweentheFullandAddmarks,noadditional
oilisrequired.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface.
2.Engagetheparkingbrake.
3.Shutofftheengineandremovethekey.
4.Removethedipstickandwipeitwithacleanrag
(Figure35).

isnecessarytopermitventingwhenlling,
whichpreventsoilfromoverrunningintothe
breather.
