1.1 Features
The Toshiba Satellite Pro S300, TECRA A10/S10/P10 Personal Computer uses extensive
Large Scale Integration (LSI), and Complementary Metal-Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS)
technology extensively to provide compact size, minimum weight, low power usage and high
reliability. This computer incorporates the following features.
There some models and options. Refer to the Parts List for the configuration of each model
and options.
Microprocessor
The Toshiba Satellite Pro S300, TECRA A10/S10/P10 computer is equipped with an
Intel

2 Duo Processor. These processors incorporate a math co-processor, a
3MB or 6MB L2 cache memory.
The PC comes in with one of the following speeds:

In the case of Processor which built in 6MB L2 cache memory

Memory
Two DDR2-667/DDR2-800 SDRAM slots. Memory modules can be installed to provide a
maximum of 4GB. Memory modules are available in 512MB, 1024MB and 2048MB sizes.
Chipset
The Satellite Pro S300, TECRA A10/S10/P10 is Equipped with Intel GM45/GL40
（Cantiga (G) MCH） as North Bridge, Intel ICH9M as South Bridge and R5C847 as
Card Controller.
VGA Controller
The PC comes in with one of the following two types:
The internal graphics controller in North Bridge is used.
nVIDIA NB9M is used.
