8.1 Set position – function, command 0xA0
Risk of injury and damage to property by an actual value jump when the
Set position function is performed!
• The Set position function should only be performed when the measuring
system is at rest, otherwise the resulting actual value jump must be
permitted in the program and application!
The Set position function is used, in order to set the current position value of the
measuring system to the desired position value. The current position value is set to
the parameter Position (Index 0x0046), if the system command with index =
0x0002 and command code = 0xA0 is performed.

8.2 Restore factory settings – function, command 0x82
The Restore factory settings function is used to set the device parameters to
their default settings. The restoring is performed if the system command with index =
0x0002 and command code = 0x82 is executed.
When the command is executed also the parameter Error count (Index 0x0020),
Device status (Index 0x0024) and Detailed device status (Index 0x0025)
are reset.
