General Information
Model Number Coding System
The model numbers for the unit and the compressor are composed of num-
bers and letters that represent features of the equipment. Shown in the three
tables following are samples of typical unit, compressor, and panel model
numbers, followed by the coding system for each.
Each position, or group of positions, in the model number is used to repre-
sent a feature. For example, in the first table, position 08 of the unit model
number, Unit Voltage, contains the letter “F”. An F in this position means that
the unit voltage is 460/60/3.
