HOW TO CHARGE BATTERY (OFF-FORKLIFT TYPE)
Charge the battery according to the manual supplied with the charger
being used.
1. Ensure the supply side voltage corresponds with the charger input
voltage.
NOTE:
The battery chargers are preset to the following input voltages at the
time of delivery:
220V ... 200-volt charger
440V ... 400-volt charger
2. If the charger input voltage does not correspond with the supply
voltage, the input side voltage is adjustable as follows using the
tap changer located inside the charger.
Unplug the charger before adjustment. Serious injury or
death can occur by electrical shock.

BATTERY GATE SWITCHES (OPTION)
Your unit may have optional battery gate switches. If gates are not
installed when the ignition switch is turned ON, the unit will not travel
and alarm codes 02 85 (for MDI) / A266 (for ECO Display Panel) will be
displayed.
If one or both battery gates should fall out during operation (traveling),
the truck will coast to a stop. Alarm codes 02 85 (for MDI) / A266 (for
ECO Display Panel) will be displayed.
Ensure battery side gates are secured in place before
operating the unit. Failure to do so could allow the battery
to suddenly slide out of the truck causing serious personal
injury and/or damage to the truck and/or battery.
