Basic functions
Answering a call
The telephone rings if the ringtone is active. The Signalisierungs LED also flash-
es. If transmitted, calling party information (name, phone number) appears on
the display.
Answering a call via the handset
The phone rings. The caller is displayed.
^ Lift the handset.
if nec. " Adjust the call volume.
Answering a call via the loudspeaker (speakerphone
mode)
The phone rings. The caller is displayed.
The ± key flashes green.
Confirm the option shown.
The É key lights up green.
or
: Press the key shown. The key illuminates. The speakerphone function is activat-
ed.
if nec. " Adjust the call volume.
Suggestions for using speakerphone mode:
• Adjust the call volume while speakerphone mode is active.
• The ideal distance between the user and the phone in speakerphone mode is
50 cm.

any of the steps described here on your phone.
If you have set a pattern melody page 138 or a ringer page 116 on
your phone, it is possible that your administrator may have preset a differ-
ent ringer depending on the call type (e.g. an external or internal call).
Any settings you are currently making on the phone will be interrupted by
an incoming call. You can use the
@ key at any time to return to the
point in the menu where you were interrupted, unless the password validity
period has expired.
If the phone number is stored in the local telephone, the associated name
is shown on the display (must be activated by the administrator).
