6. MONITORING MENU
6.1 Monitor group
VACON
®
100 X AC drive provides you with a possibility to monitor the actual values of parameters
and signals as well as statuses and measurements. Some of the values to be monitored are cus-
tomizable.
6.1.1 Multimonitor
On the multi-monitor page, you can collect four to nine values that you wish to monitor.
6.1.2 Trend curve
The
Trend Curve feature is a graphical presentation of two monitor values at a time.
Selecting values to monitor starts logging the values. In the Trend curve submenu, you can view the
trend curve, make the signal selections, give the minimum and maximum settings, Sampling inter-
val and choose whether to use Autoscaling or not.
Change values to monitor following the procedure below:
1. Locate the
Trend curve menu in the Monitor menu and press OK.
2. Further enter the menu
View trend curve by pressing OK again.
3. The current selections to monitor are
FreqReference and Motor speed visible at the bottom of
the display.
4. Only two values can be monitored as trend curves simultaneously. Select the one of the current
values you wish to change with the arrow buttons and press OK.
5. Browse the list of given monitoring values with the arrow buttons, select the one you wish and
press OK.
6. The trend curve of the changed value can be seen on the display.
The
Trend Curve feature also allows you to halt the progression of the curve and read the exact in-
dividual values.
1. In Trend curve view, select the display with the arrow button up (the frame of the display turns
bold) and press OK at the desired point of the progressing curve. A vertical hairline appears on
the display.
2. The display freezes and the values at the bottom of the display correspond to the location of the
hairline.
3. Use the arrow buttons left and right to move the hairline to see the exact values of some other
location.
